About Us

Handy Andy is Utah’s premiere handyman service with many year’s experience in home repair, remodeling and contracting.

History
Because of the versatile background of its founder it was a natural progression for Andrew Ives to formally move into the handyman business.  Working on his own with various tradesmen, craftsmen and builders Andrew refined skills he had been learning throughout his life.  After graduating with his MBA into an economy that had come to a halt and not finding work, Andrew began working on his own doing odd jobs for people who had plugged drains or drippy faucets and the like.  This informal past time soon became a regular occurrence with a growing clientele so,  in June of 2009, after discussing his plans with his family Andrew formally created HandyAndy Handyman Service.  The business was an immediate hit.  Many of Andrew’s current and former clients were excited that he had started the business and formalized his offerings and services.
Since its inception HandyAndy has been inundated with requests for services.  Careful consideration and business planning including all the proper state licensing, equipment and insurance have helped the company provide an unmatched level of customer service.  Some of the best craftsmen in Utah work with HandyAndy to round out the selection of skills and abilities the  company can provide.

Plans for the future include another crew truck, dump truck and more workers to help us meet the huge call for HandyAndy services and excellence.
